Brisket Fried Rice

I know what you will say… What? Are you being serious? Who has leftover brisket?

Honestly, a Brisket is a very large cut of meat! Well, on my side, after smoking a brisket, no matter how delicious it was, there are almost always leftovers.

Here is a great Fried Rice Recipe you should try if, by any chance, you have some leftover brisket.

What happens when you “accidentally” make too much Brisket?

or is there such a thing? 😂 Well, lets just say it happened so here's a brisket fried rice cooked on my Cuisinart BBQ Griddle

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cup jasmine rice, cooked
  • 3 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups Brisket, smoked & cooked
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Carrot, chopped
  • 1 stick Celery, chopped
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1 cup white mushroom, chopped
  • 1 cup Bell green peppers, chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cuisinart Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Cook the rice according to package instructions then refrigerate a couple hours.
  • Add and heat oil on your griddle.
  • Add the white Onions, Garlic, Carrots, Peppers, Onions and Celery and stir fry them on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Keep tossing & stirring the vegetables together continuously. They should be cooked but still retain their crispness.
  • Add Soy Sauce, Sesame oil along with eggs.

  • Add your Brisket, seasoning and mix all together
  • It's now time to add the cooked rice and mix well to coat the rice with the sauces & veggies.
  • Vegetable Fried Rice is ready. Serve it hot garnished with some fresh Minced green onions
