I know what you will say… What? Are you being serious? Who has leftover brisket?
Honestly, a Brisket is a very large cut of meat! Well, on my side, after smoking a brisket, no matter how delicious it was, there are almost always leftovers.
Here is a great Fried Rice Recipe you should try if, by any chance, you have some leftover brisket.
- 6 cup jasmine rice, cooked
- 3 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3 eggs
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 cups Brisket, smoked & cooked
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Carrot, chopped
- 1 stick Celery, chopped
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 1 cup white mushroom, chopped
- 1 cup Bell green peppers, chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Cuisinart Seasoning
Cook the rice according to package instructions then refrigerate a couple hours.
Add and heat oil on your griddle.
Add the white Onions, Garlic, Carrots, Peppers, Onions and Celery and stir fry them on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Keep tossing & stirring the vegetables together continuously. They should be cooked but still retain their crispness.
Add Soy Sauce, Sesame oil along with eggs.
Add your Brisket, seasoning and mix all together
It's now time to add the cooked rice and mix well to coat the rice with the sauces & veggies.
Vegetable Fried Rice is ready. Serve it hot garnished with some fresh Minced green onions
