Egg in a bagel hole double cheese burger

Equipment
- For this recipe, i'm using the griddle insert on my Cuisinart twin oaks pellet and gas grill. You can use any other griddle.
Ingredients
- 2 bagels
- 4 meat patty
- 4 provolone cheese slices
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- To make your own bagels, check out this recipe
- Shape 4 rounded meat patty.
- Season with salt and pepper and brush with olive oil
- Place the griddle insert on top of the gas grill grates and start your BBQ at high
- When the griddle is very hot, grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes each sides
- While the patties are cooking, slice two bagels in half and grease the flat side with some butter
- Lower the BBQ temperature and place the bagels, flat side down.
- Crack an egg in the two top bagel halves.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each patty
- Close the BBQ lid and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the egg white is cooked.
- Assemble your burger and choose your best condiments.
