Ultimate sausage ring

Equipment
- Charcoal grill - I used my portative nomad grill for this recipe
- Cast iron skillet
Ingredients
- 1 cumberland sausage 20 inches long
- 1 red pepper sliced
- ½ white onion sliced
- 3 white mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup swiss cheese grated
Instructions
- Load up and light your grill with chopped maple wood
- I'm using my portative nomad grill so for this instance, I light up both sections of the suitcase.
- In a cast iron skillet, add olive oil and your veggies and grill for about 5 minutes
- On the other side or section of your grill, place the cumberland sausage while the veggies are grilling.
- Sear the sausage on one side for about 5-7 minutes.
- Turn over the ring and top the sausage with the veggies.
- Add the grated swiss cheese and close the lid.
- Grill for about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy.
