Fiddlehead ferns sautéed with wagyu A5 beef

Equipment
- For this recipe, i'm using my Nomad portative charcoal grill. You can perform this recipe with any other equipment of your choice
Ingredients
- 5 oz Japanease A5 Wagyu steak
- 1 tbsp truffle oil
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 shallot chopped
- 1 cup fiddleheads
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prior to grilling your fiddleheads, you will need to boil them for about 15 minutes, in order to avoid food poisoning.
- Start your charcoal grill or wood fired grill.
- In a cast iron cooking pan, heat some truffle oil.
- Cook the slices of A5 Wagyu steak in the truffle oil. About 2 minutes each side.
- When all cooked, set aside, leaving the melted fat in the cast iron.
- Add some butter and the chopped shallot and wait for the butter to be all melted.
- Add the fiddleheads and stir for about 4 minutes.
- Serve with the cooked Wagyu strips.
