Ingredients
- 4 lbs Flanken style short ribs
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
Marinade
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- ½ cup maple sirup
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 1 cup Cuisinart Barrel Whiskey BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Mix all the marinade ingredients together and whisk
- In a large container with a lid or in a large sealable bag, marinate the short ribs for a minimum of 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- When ready to grill, start your griddle at high.
- Remove the short ribs from the container and pour the extra marinade in a sauce pan
- Transfer the short ribs on the griddle and cook for about 4 minutes.
- Turn them over and brush the other side with some of the leftover marinade and cook for 4 more minutes.
- Remove from the griddle and brush with some more marinade.
- Sprinkle some sesame seeds and serve hot.
