Maple Candied Bacon

- wire rack
Ingredients
- 1 pound thick cut bacon
- 1/2 cup maple syrup pure
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Set up your grill for indirect grilling and preheat to 350°F.
- Arrange the bacon on a wire rack and brush each bacon slice on both sides with maple syrup.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over all the bacon slices
- Arrange the bacon slices on the wire rack, leaving about 1/4 inch between each slices.
- Place you bacon on indirect and grill until browned and very crisp. Make sure all the sugar is caramelized, it will take 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the bacon.
- Remove from your grill, and cool completely.
