Cashew meatloaf burger
Meet the long meatloaf burgers with cashews. It’s for sure a delicious and different way to make fresh-made juicy meatloaf. Top them with bacon and spinach for the ultimate experience. Simple, easy, quick, no mess and perfect every time.
Cashew meatloaf burger
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 tbsp worcerstershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ green pepper chopped
- 2 green onions chopped
- ¼ large white onion chopped
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ½ cup cashews
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 hoagie rolls
- ⅓ cup butter
- 1 cup cheese grated
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, the egg, the Worcestershire sauce, the ketchup, the veggies and the seasonning.
- Lightly crush the cashews in a mortal
- Add the crushed cashews with the meatloaf mixture.
- With some gloves on, stir the mixture with your hands until all the ingredients are well incorporated in the ground beef.
- Form 4 patties that will fit in the french in your hoagie roll
- Start your griddle at medium heat
- Cut the hoagies in halves and spread some butter on the inside surface.
- Cook the slices of bacon. It takes about 10-15 minutes to be perfectly crispy cooked
- On the other part of your griddle, cook the 4 meatloaf patties (about 5-7 minutes per sides)
- When you flip the patties, add some cheese on top of each meatloaf.
- Cook the hoagies on the griddle for about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove everything from the griddle and dress your burgers as you wish.
- I topped them with some spinach and BBQ sauce.
