Set the temperature on your smoker/grill to 250˚F and allow it to preheat for 15 minutes. You can also do it on your oven but I like to smoke the filling.
Add the 2 tbsp of olive oil, the ground pork, beef, garlic, ginger and smoked paprika in a large skillet.
Place the skillet on your grill/smoker. If you do it on your stove, cook over medium-high heat.
Cook, breaking up the meat with a spatula until meat is browned and cooked through.
Add all the vegetables, sesame oil, soy sauce, and maple syrup. Salt and pepper to taste.
Stir to mix well then remove from heat.
Drain the filling to remove the excess fat as much as you can.
