Italian sausages with caramelized onions and apples

Ingredients

olive oil

italian sausages
cut into ½ inch slices
1
tbsp
unsalted butter
2
tbsp
brown sugar
1
small white onion
thinly sliced
2
apples
peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2
tbsp
apple cider
salt & pepper
to taste
Italian parsley
for garnishing
Instructions
Thinly slice the onion and the apples and set aside in a bowl.
Cut the italian sausages into ½ inch slices.
Start your griddle at hi and oil the surface.
Cook the italian sausages on one side and put the apples and onions on the other side.
Add the brown sugar on the apples and onions and stir.
Add some apple cider on top of the sausages.
Once the onions and apples starts to caramelize, stir them with the italian sausages.
Remove from the griddle and serve on a plate.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
