Grilled Romaine Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 heart romaine lettuce cut in half lengthwise 
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese flakes
  • 4 slice bacon grilled and crispy
  • 4 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 tsp back pepper
  • ½ lemon zest

Instructions

  • Slice the Romaine lettuce heart in two, lengthwise.
  • Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill 1 minute each side or until salad gets a nice char.
  • Remove from the flame and top with parmesan cheese, bacon, olive oil, lemon juice & zest.
  • Trim into smaller pieces and serve with homemade croutons.
