- 1 lb scallops
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- ⅓ cup white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Light up your charcoal briquettes in your chimney starter.
Pour the hot coals in your grill and close the lid for 5 minutes.
Place a skillet on your grill grates and melt the butter with the olive oil.
Sear the scallops for about 1.5 min each side.
Add the garlic, heavy cream, wine, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Grill for another 5 minutes, closing the lid for a maximum smoky flavor.
Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
